Approaching the release of his Netflix comedy special, Comedy Comisado, Hannibal Buress made a trip to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. For his time on the show, Trevor lightly joked about Hannibal no longer being known for his comedy, after a trip to South Africa. We haven’t seen Hannibal in many roles outside of comedy but he did suggest that he could soon venture into more action roles. As they ran over Hannibal’s recent credits, he went on to share that he’s interested to take on roles that require some running.
I would like to, I think somebody’s waiting for me to do an action movie…. I think I want to have my Chris Pratt transformation..
Closing things out, Hannibal even went on to suggest that he and Ben Carson have very similar behaviors in speech. Comedy Comisado is set for February 5th on Netflix.
