Following his arrest, Katt Williams is back a free man. It was reported several days ago that he was to be charged for his fight with a teen in Gainesville, GA. The incident was recorded and went viral online. The teen in the video was charged as well. After an over night stay in jail, Katt has reportedly been released on bond for $ 500.
A lawyer for Katt Williams says the comedian has been granted bond. Williams was jailed in Georgia following his arrest Wednesday. Police say the 44-year-old Williams and 17-year-old Luke Wash are charged with disorderly conduct after fighting at a Gainesville apartment complex. Wash is charged as an adult. Attorney Drew Findling says Williams was granted $ 500 bond and was expected to be released Thursday.
A couple of Katt’s dates will be rescheduled apart of his Conspiracy Theory Tour which a representative has gone on to say that prior tickets for switched shows will be honored.
