Over the weekend, we got a chance to see president Obama give his final appearance at The White House Correspondence Dinner. The night which was hosted by Larry Wilmore included a series of laughs that came as expected from President Obama. The following night CNN took time out to recap WHCD and went on to invite comedy veteran George Wallace to grade both Larry and Obama’s jokes. According to George and CNN feature Jeffery Lord, the president brought in the most laughs over Wilmore.
Usually the comedian is there to ensure we have laughter, but we never had a president that can pull it off and be the headliner. President Obama was the headliner. You never put the headliner up before the opening act…. the president is just good..
