Yesterday, we caught Arsenio Hall sharing his thoughts on the passing of his longtime friend Prince. Since the singer’s death, there have been several claims on what was the cause. According to singer Sinead O’Connor, Arsenio supplied drugs to Prince over the years and now Arsenio is suing O’Connor for those claims.
In a Facebook post published earlier this week, Sinead O’Connor accused television host Arsenio Hall of supplying drugs to Prince “over the decades.” She also accused Hall of drugging her in the past. Today, Hall has responded by filing a $ 5 million defamation suit against O’Connor, as TMZ reports. In the suit, Hall denied that he ever supplied drugs to Prince or drugged O’Connor. The suit also refers to her as a “desperate attention seeker” and said she is “well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts.” The Drug Enforcement Agency recently got involved with the investigation into Prince’s death. It’s also been reported that Prince passed away a day before he was scheduled to get urgent treatment for addiction to painkillers.
