On September 21st Damon Wayans will officially make his return to primetime TV with the upcoming Lethal Weapon series. As shared, Damon stars in the series where Danny Glover left off playing Detective Murtaugh. Previously it was shared that the procjet will premiere this Fall and now FOX has given it’s official date and time.

Beginning Sept. 21, Wednesdays are explosive, with the series premiere of LETHAL WEAPON and the return of EMPIRE. Based on the hit movie franchise of the same name, LETHAL WEAPON (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) follows iconic cop duo RIGGS (Clayne Crawford, “Rectify”) and MURTAUGH (Emmy Award nominee Damon Wayans, Sr., “My Wife and Kids,” “In Living Color”), as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.
