Many Hollywood actors have back stories to some of their earliest work. For comedic actress Niecy Nash, her venture into acting wasn’t like the rest. Before many land big roles, they find themselves searching for agents who can present opportunity but Niecy went after her own opportunity. During a round table conversation with The Hollywood Reporter; Niecy shared how she came into Hollywood without an agent.
When I was standing in that audition….. I said “oh did you pick me? because I told him that I had a baby at home… I did the movie Boys On The Side, and my my scene was with Whoopi Goldberg. It was my first job (acting role).
