As he gets ready to premiere his Laugh Out Loud network next year in partnership with Lionsgate, Kevin Hart is heading to Just For Laughs next month to hear out a few creatives. It was announced today that on July 28 while in Montreal; Kevin will hold a pitch meeting for all those who are looking to get more eyes on their work.
Comedy superstar Kevin Hart teams up with Just For Laughs to present Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network Pitch Panel, which invites creators to pitch their best pilot ideas for a shot at fame and maybe… just maybe… a slot on Hart’s Laugh Out Loud comedy platform. Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network Pitch Panel takes place Thursday, July 28 at 1 pm, Hyatt Regency Montreal, Grand Salon Opera. The one-hour panel kicks off Just For Laughs ComedyPRO, the four-day comedy conference that runs parallel to the enormously successful Just For Laughs Festival. Comedians, writers, producers and creators are invited to submit a one-page outline to industry@hahaha.com by Wednesday, July 13. Up to 10 finalists will be selected to present, and each finalist will have two minutes to pitch their idea to Kevin and his team. Hart will provide feedback on the ideas presented… and put his money where his mouth is. Laugh Out Loud is an over-the-top streaming service; a partnership between Hartbeat Digital and Lionsgate. The service will officially launch first quarter of 2017. It will house original unscripted and scripted series along with shows featuring up-and-coming comedians and social media stars.
