Made in 88 is a series of original music videos produced in-house by the 88 Rising team.
In this first installment, we give visual love to our big homie GoldLink’s “Spectrum,” featuring moves by Brian Puspos. From the homies at Soulection to our CEO, we think this is a near perfect song.
We asked about the Tagalog dialogue sprinkled throughout the song, and GoldLink told us the story of a former Filipina girlfriend who used to berate him in her native tongue. This is her speaking on the song—shout out Manila.
