Long time friends, Magic Johnson and Steve Harvey caught up on the phone yesterday morning and discussed Steve’s first go-around as host of the Miss Universe pageant. As previously reported Steve ended up confusing the winners of the award show, which sparked media attention worldwide. As a way to send encouragement, Magic called into Steve’s morning radio show to further discuss the public’s response and why he supported Steve immediately following the event. Steve we don’t care about the little mistake because all during the show, you did your thing. I would have never watched the show if it wasn’t for Steve Harvey… I made mistakes….
Steve has since went on to sign on as host of Miss Universe a few more years.
